Tom Conran is a producer, mixer, and engineer based out of Philadelphia, PA. Tom is also a multi-instrumentalist, with focus on guitar and bass.
True Level Studio in Blackwood, New Jersey is home to Tom’s recording, mixing and engineering and was acoustically designed by Atom Sonic Concepts in 2019.A few of Tom’s favorite spots to record in addition to True Level Studio are The Gradwell House Recording Studios, Retro City Studios, Musically Speaking Studios & Sound Acres.
Atom Sonic Concepts houses Tom’s acoustic design and consultation work, bringing over 50 studios, home recording spaces and live rooms to life with his partner and team of contractors over the past five years.
Tom’s journey into engineering began aged thirteen with a small recording studio in his parents basement. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sound Design from Michigan Technological University Tom was honored with an award for sound excellence. Before opening True Level Studio, Tom ran a loft recording suite at Philly Sound Studios and tracked in their rehabilitated chapel live room before moving onto freelance work in the tri-state area while birthing his companies.Tom has since worked on hundreds of releases, spanning genres and striving to connect artist, intent and audience.
